Hello! I am Les

Principal owner of JMAEFF Consulting, Leslie is a graduate of the University of Victoria. He has been in the building science industry for over 20 years. His project experience includes Building Envelope Renewal and Maintenance, Visual Building Condition Assessments, Warranty Reviews, and New Construction. Leslie has also held various leadership positions in his career. He was the Deputy Director and Operations Manager of a non-profit organization with an annual budget of 3.5M. As a Project Coordinator for shíshálh Nation, a self-government district, Leslie managed the public works department and was involved in various capital works projects. Prior to these leadership positions, he owned and operated a contracting business in Penticton, B.C., specializing in both commercial and residential construction for over a decade. His passion centers on discovering innovative solutions and promoting sustainable development. On a personal side, Leslie has a background in certified NLP and Solution-Focused counselling. He currently resides on a 320 acre nature retreat in the South Okanagan with his family.
